NIA XI USHERING 2023 RESONATES GRATITUDE

One object stood out as NIA across the Philippines held the simultaneous Ushering 2023- the NIA GRATITUDE WALL on January 9, 2023.

To acknowledge the greater things and opportunities that the Agency has brought to its employees, the NIA GRATITUDE WALL was set to allow the employees to express how grateful they are to be part of the NIA family.

Employees come in groups to the stage during the shading of the Gratitude Wall.

As one Agency, One NIA, the NIA GRATITUDE WALL will bring unity in creating a masterpiece that will describe how thankful and grateful the employees are to the agency.

With this year’s theme “NIA Para sa Progresibong Pilipinas,” RM Apostol emphasized the role of NIA XI in boosting the farmers’ productivity to attain food self-sufficiency in the midst of the looming global food crisis, and the rising costs of farm inputs and prime commodities.” 

With the tasks ahead, the Gratitude Wall promotes a sense of unity working towards our common goal.

The Regional Top Management lingered a bit to shade their boxes with the color that corresponds to the things they are grateful for as a NIAn. 

Regional Manager Jimmy L. Apostol was the last to shade on the NIA XI Gratitude Wall during the  ceremonial shading.

The masterpiece is called "Agyamak Iti Padanum" in Ilocano, or "Thank you, Irrigation," a simple memorial of the things NIA employees are thankful for.

The Irrigation Management Offices also held their own Ushering In 2023 with their very own Gratitude Wall.
