The National Irrigation Administration – Irrigation Management Office Davao de Oro (NIA IMO DdO) continues the implementation of Republic Act No. 10969, also known as the Free Irrigation Service Act (FISA), through the ongoing processing of applications for farmers across the province.
From March 13 to April 14, 2026, farmers from various areas in Davao de Oro continued to participate in the ongoing application activity under the Free Irrigation Service Act (FISA) being implemented by NIA XI.
The activity aims to facilitate the processing and validation of requirements for farmers to be officially recognized as qualified beneficiaries of the program. Through this initiative, NIA XI continues to strengthen support for the agricultural sector by promoting proper beneficiary registration and reinforcing sustainable farming development in the province.
The activity was facilitated by the Finance Unit headed by Ms. Ma. Chriscelle A. Reyes, in coordination with the Operations and Maintenance Unit, ensuring the smooth processing and verification of farmer applications.
Through the continuous implementation of the FISA program, NIA IMO Davao de Oro remains committed to supporting the welfare of farmers by promoting accessible irrigation services, reducing production costs, and contributing to stronger agricultural development in the province.
