Communal Irrigation Systems herein represented by the IA Presidents of the respective association.

Through the conduct of the 12th NIA-IA Congress last March 3, 2023 at Grand Regal Hotel Davao City, NIA XI
gives recognition to the OUTSTANDING Irrigators Associations (IAs) throughout the region for successfully
sustaining the operations and maintenance of their respective IAs in spite of circumstances. Spearheaded by NIA
Acting Administrator Engr. Eddie G. Guillen along with Deputy Administrator for Admin and Finance, Mr.
Ralph Lauren A. Du, NIA XI Regional Manager Engr. Jimmy L. Apostol, and Division Managers Dexter F.
Tinapay, Larry Franada, Gil G. Valdez, and Rona B. Presto, 47 IAs under the National and Communal Irrigation
Systems were awarded certificates in acknowledgment of their continuous efforts to develop coordinated support
of all government institutions and non-government organizations, and successfully representing the interest of the
irrigation farmers progressively.
With the proactive drive of the Institutional Development Program (IDP)
Implementers of NIA XI, the activity was facilitated by IDS Chief Lani M. Sumabat together with the IDS Heads
of the region, Tony Apiag, Ma. Isabel Decio, Dennis Llorca, Christelyn Sobrecary. It was deemed a success.
This recognition helps the IAs build a sense of security and determination, motivating them to continue working hard.
It also shows them that their accomplishments are valued and their contributions to the success of their respective
associations transcend to the agency overall.
The IAs settled to their seats as Acting Administrator Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen along with Deputy Administrator for Admin and Finance Ralph Lauren A. Du and Regional Manager Jimmy L. Apostol are ushered to the front to start the program.
